Drove all the way from ********** for a deal that I had pricing and terms on with approved financing via Car Gurus. The price was about ****** and I was told I would get ****** as a trade-in. When I got to the dealership, I was told that that price is only good if I purchase add-ons. They also changed my trade-in from ****** to 7000. In total, the car was gonna cost me $10,000 more than I had agreed to and negotiated before I went to the dealer. We asked to speak to a manager and we left waiting for 20 minutes and told the manager was busy and the sales person brought over a deal sheet with the terms I described above. I have purchased cars over the Internet before and negotiated everything before going to the dealership. I am normally in and out quickly, and they honor the terms of the deal that was negotiated. They do try to add things, but when I say I dont want them, they remove them and the deal goes on.Not here. Drove over an hour. What a waste of my time. If you advertise a price on a car, be prepared to sell that car for that price.

Unfortunately we were unable to make a deal with ***** **** after inquiring about a pre-owned vehicle he had seen on our Car Gurus website link, listed for $35,887. He had a 2018 ******* Tucson as a trade in. The value given to him was $7000. Mr. **** got upset and said he had already built and negotiated a deal with Car Gurus. As a 3rd party website, Car Gurus doesnt have access to ***** a deal. Mr. **** was told he could buy our vehicle for the add price with no accessories being charged to him but his trade in wasnt worth his asking price of $12,000 and without running his credit we couldnt give him an accurate monthly payment or finance term. Mr. **** got upset that we couldnt give him over retail blue book value for his car or a true payment without running credit and left the dealership.

Typical bait and switch. Wont honor listed price. They wanted to charge additional 3k for mandatory add ons. If they are indeed mandatory, then the add ons should be reflected on the listed price. The lack of transparency was designed to bait customers in. They are the embodiment of the term stealership.
