    I contacted Doubletree in February 2024 to get my property cleared. Initially we shot for mid-April to start the work. However, the biologist who was supposed to do a survey first allegedly went on vacation for 3 weeks. On 5/20 I called to ask for a new start date. I was told that they had picked up a job in ****** and that I had to wait. The project manager actually raised her voice at me when I asked more questions.Six weeks went by without another word.The fire season started and many tree companies assist *******. Doubletree was at the ********* in ***** and then at the Line Fire in ***************On 8/23 I was told Were wrapping up at the fire. As soon as that excavator is back itll come straight to your property. Youre next in line. I clarified whether that meant a start date of September and got some wishy-washy response.On 10/11 I left a message as I saw the excavator in the equipment yard. I was told that they had to revisit the properties they had been pulled from when the fires started.On 10/18, the project manager came by my property to look around. At that time I was told that the excavator had to go to ********** for ************** was crickets again for several weeks! On 11/13 I left another message asking for an update. Winter was coming and I had hoped to get important outbuildings finished before we get snow.I waited 8 days for a call back. Crickets!On 11/21, I left another message. She finally called back, saying that they might be able to start before Christmas but theres no guarantee it would be finished before ******** do we go from as soon as that excavator is back from the fire itll come straight to your property to I cant guarantee it will be done before Christmas?Time and time again my hopes were raised just to get crashed a few weeks later!Stringing customers along is not fair. I wasted almost an entire year waiting around. I understand that stuff happens, but there is no excuse for deception!
