- California Business and Professions Code 7117 forbids a contractor from operating under any business name other than the name on his or her Contractor's State License Board (CSLB) license. As of April 14, 2017, this business is licensed by the CSLB under the name Pacific Rim Construction, however it is doing business as Aram Solar, a DBA (doing-business-as) name which is not listed on their Contractor's license.
We contacted the business on March 16, 2017 and March 24, 2017 requesting that they add the DBA Aram Solar Electrical to their Contractor's license or add the licensed name to their website, www.aramsolar.com. As of April 14, 2017 the DBA has not been added to the license and the website does not include the licensed name.
