    om Tamiya for the Sept. 7 and 12 calls I made. I would like to know how Tamiya will handle this refund but they do not return my calls.

    My name is *************************** and I am the Vice President at Tamiya America, Inc.  This morning I called your office to discuss a complaint against us.  I did leave a message but thought a follow up email might help as well.  The complaint ID #: ******** from ******************************

    After looking into this, it has come to my attention that ****************** was reimbursed/credited for $58.64 on September 6, 2022 (transaction ID ************.  I apologize that we didnt get back to him sooner to address his concerns.  However, our office had an emergency closure due to Covid exposure.  Initially we had closed for two weeks, but due to a secondary exposure, amongst several staff members, we stayed closed for an additional two and half weeks, which was basically the month of August. 

    To complicate matters, our customer service supervisor was also dealing with a major personal issue/emergency.  I mention this because he would have been the person working directly with ****************** on his return.  With his absence, Mr. ******** inquiries didnt get reviewed until we returned to normal business, which was Tuesday September 6, 2022. 

    Unfortunately this all happened at a very bad time for us.  As I mentioned above, we did issue the credit as soon as we were aware of the return.  We are very sorry to worry ****************** about his transactions and we hope that he will still trust us and the Tamiya brand moving forward. 

    We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused him and your staff.
