    The apt. I rented in ******** 10 years ago under ***** Mgt with ******************************* was responsive and cared about renters. Under this company, property managers like to falsely accuse renters; ignore big issues and complaints; are prejudiced, bias and enjoy intimidating renters they don't like with baseless and threatening attorney letters filled with egregious allegations in retaliation.

    *** lived in this apartment for 8 years and Fairgrove has managed it for about 1.5 years. They never respond in a timely manner for any issues with the property. Ten days to respond when my kitchen sink stopped working about a year ago, didnt respond at all when I notified them of the issue Im having with my front door five months ago and most recent, I reported a bathroom leak and a broken front door 5 days ago. I just got a call from the plumber today and havent heard anything about the front door. I notified them that my front door doesnt lock anymore and the only thing holding it closed is a dumbbell. This is not a good neighborhood, there are crackheads and tweekers roaming this neighborhood, I had one knocking at my front door at 5 am a couple weeks ago. ** ******* ****** **** *** **** **** *** **** **** ****** ***** ** **** *** ** ******* **, this is additional notice that theyve been notified and have completely neglected to uphold their end of our contract by providing a secure and habitable place to live.

    Incredibly unprofessional. Property manager at OC Apartment Homes in ******* never provided certain documentation at move in (including inspection form), routinely ignored or delayed response to maintenance concerns including issues with excessive amounts of visible mode (which, legally speaking, may have made the unit technically uninhabitable), rarely ever communicated with us about our concerns, and refused to bring in a mold abatement professional. Upon submitting a notice to vacate we requested, in writing, an initial inspection (as is our right in accordance with CA Civil Code SS ******) and he never scheduled or performed the inspection prior to our move out. District manager assured us IN WRITING that we would get our full deposit back for all that we went through, then charged us for cosmetic damages that were cause by a previous tenant (that we could not notate because, again, we were never given an initial inspection form). Property manager also refused to do anything when we had about 10 bees come into the apartment through a vent, despite the fact that several 24/7 Bee handling professionals were in the area. Luckily neither of us were allergic to bees. Imagine if we had been. That would have been a potentially deadly situation. The worst rental experience I have ever had.

    These people are just scum bag low life types. They steal and lie and all the stuff you generally try to avoid with proper y managers - they do it all. They charged $275 for a "replacement medicine cabinet" that WAS NOT broken. $700 to paint a 400 sq. ft. 1-bedroom, etc. Just stuff like that. Super scuzzy. And ******************* likes to let herself into your apartment to look around whenever she has the urge; if you aren't home for any period of time, she just lets herself in and then calls it a "welfare check." Ha! Ha! Ha! As if a 50 year old professional can't take care of themselves! Ha! Ha! Ha! This place is a joke. Rent from them at your own risk.

    Hi *****, I wanted to apologize for the delayed response regarding your review. 

    Upon conducting the move out inspection, we discovered several scratches all over the glass of the medicine cabinet. Unfortunately, these scratches were beyond repair, and the cabinet needed to be replaced. As per your rental agreement, damage made by the resident is subject to charges, and in this case, the replacement of the medicine cabinet was necessary. 

    Regarding your concern about one of our staff letting herself in, we take such matters seriously and will be investigating further to ensure that any issues are promptly addressed and corrected.

    Onsite Manager ***** is Harassing Tenants with Rascal Slurs, i Made a Complaint to the office and ********** Manager Name ************** & unhelpful. Now As a Tenant Im being threatened with 3 day notices. I Dont feel safe where i live & im being harassed by both managers. Dont rent here ! Unprofessional/ Non Communicative.
