    I have requested for ************************** to please remove my information from their site. I requested to opt out of their company marketing my personal information. I informed that I will NOT be sending my identification photo. Only to be sent an email insisting on my identification photo. This is clearly unsafe, and an ignoble profession to pursue.

    I have tried to opt out from Background Alert company selling my information and to have my personal and other information deleted from their database, but they are requesting a copy of my valid ID. I am not providing more of my persobal information for them to have and sell in the future. I request that my identity be verified via e-mail link. I don't trust these companies who make money selling people's information for profit.

    We should be able to request removal of our name from the website, however the website requires you to submit a valid unexpired ID. This should not be required for removal and I refuse to give a shady business my ID for them to remove something they shouldn't have in the 1st place.

    I received an email indicating that my personal data was available on several services including backgroundalert.com. When I tried to opt out, the site said that I needed to upload my ID to continue. I've opted out over a dozen other sites and none have asked for ID. Furthermore, backgroundalert.com did not specify what qualifies as valid ID. I do not trust them with any information on my ID that they don't already have. For them to feign that they are protecting me - "We need to ensure that it's you"- when I did not consent for my any of my information to be shared with them is something that I find appalling.

    This website required me to upload my photo ID just to take down my personal information from their website. They did not do it, and I have further concerns as to what they are doing with my identification. This has scam written all over it in my opinion.

    This business is selling my personal info certainly without my permission. In addition to that, it has listed people that are not related to me. As a result of erroneous information like this, I have been contacted by bill collectors and even a police department. I have been hounded by one collection agency who uses a robocall system, which made it impossible to block all the numbers. I have had to file a police report. And Background Alert asked for my ID. There is no way I trust them with my personal ID. I want this information removed.

    ****** has informed me that Background Alert has sold my information. The info sold is actually my disabled adult son's information! These guys need to be shut down.
