  I concur and agree with all the other reviews on here I have the same experience. They jack-up your rent within 3 to 6 months by exorbitant amounts, and then the late fees are also astronomical, 50, 60 bucks!! Nothing fair or reasonable by this profit driven company

  The people who run this facility are NEVER there. I am only allowed to make payment by money order. There is never anyone there to accept my payment so I leave it in the box. They don't apply my payment until 2-3 days later and then add a late fee even though I paid on time. ***** called from the office today and told me I had to pay the late fee because I drop it in the box and she didnt apply it until 3 days later. So I'm responisbecause she's incompetent? I was also told I would pay a lesser amount for a year and after 5 months it increased. I contacted ********* and waiting for a reply. I do not suggest anyone uses this location. They do not know how to run a business.

  This Public Storage on *********************** in ****** is a HUGE rip off. My rent went up $120, which works out to a 27% increase, withOUT notifying me. They tried to do it in January, after only being in my unit for less than 5 months. I called 4 times in 3 days & finally received a call back from a nasty lady who basically said, "too bad". In my opinion, they are price gouging, because they can. DO NOT rent from this Public Storage. Check with Extra Space storage. Had another unit with them for 7 months & never once did they raise the rent.

  my storage space , Artesia ********** when I arrived to retrieve my belongings last month after. 7 years out of state .My unit had been open and locked by management TOO soon on a preliminary lean . The next day my bill was paid and their lock was on it .being out of state I could not relock it and no one else was alloyed to. I have pictures of a jumbled mess boxes opened and ruffled through and no one will admit it was entered .

  They keep saying I owe when Ive already paid my bill several times. They charged me $51 3x already saying my payment bounced when it didnt.

  Public storage is notorious for discriminating against existing customers. They offer low rates to entice new customers. Then they raise your rate every 3 to 6 months. The rate gets so high that its double the price they charge for the same unit to a new customer. It forces you to leave. Seems like theyd rather have an empty unit instead of keeping a good customer long-term at a decent stable rate.

  I rented a unit at Public Storage two years ago, and the price has doubled. If you go on line, they say you can rent a unit the same size as mine for much less. I would not recommend this business, and I will be getting everything out of storage asap. I consider this price gouging.

  The facility is clean but it's difficult to get access into the building and then to get to your floor within the facility. The biggest problem is that they increase the rent $50 every six months at least. I started at $162 a year ago and it is now $264. Nothing worth this type of increase repeatedly.

  Please do not do business with Public Storage due to their horrible business practices of applying enormous late fees and lien fees on your account. They increase monthly storage payments when they have their $1.00 new customer move ins and then charge current customers an increase to make up the difference. The facility is mice infested and can cause the renter air borne hanta virus illnesses due to mice droppings, urine and chewing saliva on your items. The facility temperature is below 0 during fall and winter months with no moving carts to move your storage items in or out. Management will discuss your personal account with an outside moving source. They are working a scam to obtain your belongings once they put them in Auction mode. This company is a financial scammer. Beware!!!

  Don't fall for their online specials. I rented a unit for $140.00 a month. After three payments they raised the rent to $210 a month. They said " that is what similar units go for." I went to there website and they were still advertising the same size unit for $149.00. This leads me to believe this is a classic "bait and switch" scheme. Buyer beware.
