Unity has unfair practices and seemingly discriminatory. The fee you pay doesnt even keep up the mini park area that is there. Several neighbors have violations and we have not seen any change yet others are being held accountable. The board lives on property and pick and choose who they will fine. The property manager is hasnt even fixed a broken light in the neighborhood and its been months.

Although Unity, Inc. provides a nice webpage it is not all, it is claiming. This business is supposed to be a property management business specializing in the property management of Homeowner Associations in the ******, ** area. The company employees representatives who are supposed to be qualified and expert in community association management. However they are not! Unity's selective influences and manipulation of some or all members of a ***** of ********* who make and change rules to the satisfaction and benefit of a few, is reprehensible. The expertise of the Unity Representative who is supposed to supply advice and knowledge of the state laws is often seriously compromised. The company is supposed to abide by the what in ********** is referred to as the *************************** Act. As a previous property owner in one of the *** that they manage, I can tell you that the company representatives are not so versed in the civil code that make of up that Act. I am not against ***'s in general, they have their purposes and value. But, I would never by a property in an *** if it were being managed by Unity, Inc. Their management of *** *****s, selective enforcement of rules and selective fining of some is also reprehensible. One of these days, someone will *** this company for violation of the California Civil Code regulations governing CA Common Interest Developments.

I would avoid this company at all costs.... they always want to charge you for violations... I built my house and the prior HOA company had not issue... they are targeting customers and should be looked at and reported to the HOA board authority in California. I'm in the process and please never do business with them!

Be Careful. If you complain you WILL be targeted. September 2022 "unable to perform services promised". January 2023 "we are not on site". Problems are ignored yet HOA fees went up $14000 in European Grove South alone in 2022. 2023 increased again $8 per mth per home, 203 homes X $8 X 12 months=$19,000 + more to Unity to ignore problems for years. "Not my job is all we get from subcontractors. Why did I&I changed it's name to Unity???? Worth investigating.

I have never seen such a disgraceful property management company in my life of 74 years. Underhanded, liars, non-compliant with the Davis-Stirling Act and even ignores Calif. State Law, not to mention the Civil Rights of others. Take the Disabled Veteran who applied for permission to leave his trash barrels outside the gate because it was to hard for him to pull them in and out. After this Disabled Veteran had spent 6 years in a wheelchair and undergone 9 spinal surgeries, his request was denied even though other homeowners who were disabled were allowed to leave their barrels outside the gate. Not only that, the HOA tried to make this Disabled Veteran take down his American Flag and Flagpole which California State Law says that all homeowners are allowed to have one on their own property. When the Disabled Veteran refused to obey the HOA and Unity Property Management which was I & I Property Management at the time, he was slapped with a $50 fine of which would have continued every month until he complied. Not only has this harassment gone on but continues to this very day even with the help of the so called Unity Inc. This Disabled Veteran asked for the HOA Board of Directors to turn the pool heater on because with all of the metal implants that he has in him body, the cold water is so painful to him that he is unable to enjoy the pool that he also pays for. He even told the Board that he would pay for and donate a Solar Pool Heater so that it would not cost the HOA any money at all The Board of Directors and Unity Inc. said No, so what. They all know that he is a Disabled Veteran but his Civil Rights are being violated BIG TIME. It look like there maybe some legal action against the HOA and Unity Inc.
