Terrible flooring company and product. I had to replace my 8 year old Costco laminate due to water damage from leaking bathroom fitting. We found the flooring my wife liked at flooring liquidators purchased 2000 square feet of it. Due to on a concrete foundation used a high end moisture barrier. started noticing joints and seems coming apart prior to the installation even being complete multiple places thought the the house contacted flooring liquidators they sent out a person from the local store and said its not a installation issue can see the separations. They then referred it to a third party inspector who states its a installation problem due to spacing and foundation issues. I might agree if the same installer wasn't me that did it and took extra time and care to make it right and that the the Costco laminate I installed on the same foundation 8 years ago didn't have the same problem. The only difference is the product not the installer, installation method, or the foundation. Note this is the 6th flooring I have installed. None with this problem. The locking joints on this product for the length and width and thickness of this product is terrible. Another note have not yet finished install due to waiting for product help I have now noticed joints separating on flooring that is down and has 8 inch gap between one wall and 2 foot gap on the other side due to flooring installation stopped. If it is due to not enough spacing why would it come apart with that much spacing. Unfortunately seems the product is not able to hold up through the installation process to even make it to real life use. At this point I want my $8000.00 back to purchase a good reliable floor that will make it through the install. By the way the flooring displayed in the store is mounted on a board so you cant see the joints and glued down once your order it its yours unless you pay 25% restocking fee. good way to trap sales and hide true quality.
