    I purchased a plot for my dad. It was decided that we would not use it. I sold it to a family friend For the same amount that I purchased it for. Oakwood wants to charge me over $2000.00 to transfer the name on the deed. This is half of what I paid for the entire plot! Its complete and utter price gouging. I hate this place for many reasons, lack of empathy after they receive your money, lack of knowledge, lack of willingness to assist you with anything other than a cash transaction. No policies to be found on this facility.

    We buried my father there in January 2023 in a pre-purchased crypt and they didn't have the chairs and canopy set up so we had to stand for the ceremony. *************************** who claims to be the manager blamed the mortuary representative. During the grave site service the staff were joking and talking out loud totally disrespecting our family and the service so the mortuary director had to shush them and tell them to be quiet and step around the corner all the time the deacon was speaking.On April 1, 2023 tragedy strikes again and my brother passed away so after making all the arraignments except for the cemetery we returned to Oakwood Memorial Park on April 13, 2023 so we could bury my brother with our mother and father. ****** knew exactly who we were the second we walked in the door and as soon as I told him her brother passed away *************************** walks over and says well never bury my brother anywhere close to my parents. He immediately quotes $15K for a ground plot plus $2,500.00 labor or $10.5K for a crypt and additional $2,500.00 labor again, nowhere near my father and mother and never even mentions headstones or markers. ****** was talking loud and smiling all the time as though he found humor in our grief. Then he grabs these maps and price lists, circles the highest prices and suggests we go to **** ************** Memorial Park where it would be Two thirds less. *************************** is an unsympathetic subhuman being with absolutely no compassion. He should not be working in any position where hes allowed to come in contact with customers.
