As part of an industry-wide review of CBD businesses in our service area, BBB requested that CBDfx substantiate, modify, or discontinue advertising claims on its website to be in compliance with the BBB Code of Advertising as well as FDA and FTC mandates for this industry. On June 21, 2022, BBB initially contacted the business regarding their website, which featured various claims including the health benefits of CBD Oil.
On November 16, 2022, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) formally issued a Warning Letter to Newhere Inc dba CBDFX.
As of May 17, 2023, CBDfx has cooperated with BBB. BBB is awaiting a close-out letter from the FDA.
