The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government’s allegations, which have not yet been proven:
On January 8th, 2020 the Medical Board of California (MCB), a subsection of the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA), filed an accusation against Hunter Scott Greene seeking the suspension of Greene's license and authority, as well as the payment of probation monitoring costs. According to the accusation, between the dates of January 1st 2012 and June 23rd, 2013, Greene allegedly committed repeated negligent acts during the care and treatment of a patient, including but not limited to: not requesting preoperative x-rays, prematurely removing hardware from the patient's hips, and incorrect reliance on intra-operative C-arm images.
