I chose ************************* after searching on Yelp for a business that offered scalp micro pigmentation to women. I was seeking a specific style of SMP when I came across a review/photos for that type of scalp tattoo. I continued my research of this business on ****** reviews to make sure I was going to be making the best decision for me. I scheduled an appointment with *** as she goes by for Sunday 10-9-22. She texts me to let me know she was running late, I show up on time and my first impressions of her work space was that it's unorganized, a little chaotic, not very sanitary due to her having a visitor present that I was not told would be there the entire process with equipment everywhere. SMP requires 100% sanitation as you are getting micro wounds to the scalp, I wanted what she claimed she could do so bad that I dismissed all the red flags as to why I should have walked away but against my better judgment I went ahead with the treatment. She used foul language throughout the entire process, complaining about men, her back hurting from doing this type of work, and I just listened figuring I'd be happy with the outcome, I was recorded without giving consent, I was not asked if I was ok with being filmed for tik tok videos and I'm a private person and I'm not ok with that, and getting that type of tattoo is not something I want publicized, I thought it was for record keeping not public videos. When she was done and I saw the outcome I was in shock as it looked bad but since it was my first time getting this done I thought it might just be the process until it's healed. 10 days later I noticed how awful it was healing, I sent her pictures, made her aware of my discontent, I was worried at this point, all she could respond with is that I needed to stay calm, and to give it 20 to 30 days before judging the results. I did that and the end results look botched. I now have what looks like an ink splatter on my left temple. I've gotten harassed for speaking out
