When a customer calls and asks about a torsion spring and “Geo” says bring the old one down and I’ll make sure you get the right spring. When they aren’t even supposed to sale springs or torsion bars to the public and has you sign a waiver! Then you come home to install it (My Husband) who does all of our home repairs and is very handy works 2 days to only find out Geo sold him the wrong side torsion spring! We ended up having a gentleman come over and install it on the opposite side. Thank goodness for “Bryan”. Bryan, told us that we should have 2 springs due to the weight of our garage door. Also, Kern Door AKA Broken Drum has been replacing our springs for years and come to find out they installed the wrong ones every time. They also told my husband that going to a single spring would be better. When you trust an accredited company you trust them. It’s a shame that the customer service was handled without any regard and didn’t even offer to pay for the installation that “Brian” came to do. Being that I have worked in the industry “construction”for 30 years, Taking care of your customers is the right thing to do. Maybe “Geo” needs a bit more training??? We’ve been made to feel like they sold us the wrong one so that the next day they would receive a call from us to get the installation cost too. That’s just bad business. I’m on a fixed income that’s why I do my own home repairs. My mother in-law lives with us and has metastatic cancer and she was kind enough to pay the installer, Brian.
