    I have worked in a shop which had stocked a few Global Formulas products. Preface: I very much liked their products; they work very well, and seem to reflect what's actually on the label (in my opinion) which is not always the case in the "supplement" market. That said, this review is about their abhorrent customer service.I was traveling on business and ordered something from them via my phone/mobile browser, which apparently triggered an alert in their Shopify based sales system/frontend. As I understand, Shopify has some fraud detection algorithms which work well, but can also have a margin of error. I, unfortunately fell into the margin of error.A company rep reached out via email and informed me that the only way to receive my order would be to send them a copy/photo of a government issued ID. I called and told them that I would not be comfortable doing so; these days, having your data out and going through even "encrypted" channels can be unsafe. I've personally had my information stolen before, which is why I'm cautious. The call quickly degraded into a yelling match wherein I attempted to understand why my IP was flagged (I've used Shopify-based shops before, and this has never happened), and the two reps on the other line kept passing the phone back and forth yelling over me and interrupting me. At one point, they accused me of fraud simply because the caller ID shows my father's first name, but not mine, (which was on the order, and because I put a different phone number on the order. I did raise my voice at one point, but after calming down and trying to rephrase my question in a more polite way, they continued screaming, and then told me the only communication they would accept going forward would be via email or text. I did both, and received no response. This was the single most unprofessional customer service experience I've ever had. I strongly recommend avoiding buying from them if this is the way the company deals with order issues.
