      This place was horrible. Had car for over a year. Car still not right. Gave us car with things still Broke. They didn't communicate very well. Now we paid way to much for a car that's still not right. Would never recommend this place. Instead I'll be telling all my clients how horrible they are!?! Will not give then any stars! But unfortunately I have to, to leave a review

      I rarely give 5 star reviews after visiting a place once. I needed a ****** mechanic for my 2011 Forester and I found Astro Transmission on a ****** search. Right away I was put at ease with Patricks knowledge and competence on all things automotive, especially my ******* The thing that pushed it to 5 stars was their willingness to educate me about the work needed on my car, and why, and to help me to decide what was an immediate concern and what could wait until my financial picture is a bit ******. The work preformed on my ****** was finished on time and at the price point we had agreed, they even handle a few minor repairs without charge! ******* and the other mechanics at the ******** location are tops, *** the cost estimator gave a great estimate on all the parts needed, the peace of mind that comes with the knowledge that I have a competent and honest mechanic is priceless. Thank you guys at Astro Transmission!, I highly recommend them for your automotive repairs.

      They really deserve no stars. I had my car towed to them, as my clutch went out on my 2019 ********** Jetta. They had my car for 2 1/2 mo's and charged me *****, for a clutch. I had to secure financing, resulting in obtaining 3 loans, before they would release my car to me. I had to take it back 3 times, and it's still not right. Now I find out my main motor mount is stripped and fell out. They claim no responsibility. I'm deep in debt and so frustrated with them. I would advise not taking your car to them for anything.

      I was unaware that the BBB was 'taking' reviews. Historically they only delt with customer complaints. I received no notification of this or any of the other review. However, recently an employee advised me of this and the other reviews without our response I've reached out to BBB 3 different times to assist me in finding the method by which I could respond. To date have not heard from the BBB of Southern AZ. Obviously, I eventually found my way here. 

      ************** you failed to mention that we had your car from 7-5-22 to 9-1-22 (2 months not 2 1/2) was because we were waiting on you to secure financing. We had called during the month of August, 4 different times and left messages but you didn't return those calls until 8-30-22.

      Certainly, we wouldn't release your car until you paid, $4,737 (not the $6,600 you claim). We have no record of your claim regarding the engine mount falling out. (Note: In removing and installing the transmission and clutch, the engine mounts are not involved in that process.)

      Because of my delay in responding to your review, return with your vehicle in the next 30 days and if there is a problem with a motor mount, we will replace it at no charge to you.

      So they did diagnose the correct problem, fuel pump, fuel moduel and relay. Wanted to charge my son $2300.00 pluss tax and environmental fees. This includes the 160 something dollars plus tax for diagnosis. I got the job done for $551.00 so even paying them there expensive diagnose and a tow to another shop it was worth taking my son's truck somewhere else.

      ****************, I'm sorry that we were unable to meet a price you felt comfortable with for the fuel pump and relay. However, the price you quoted covered the fuel pumpm & relay, spark plugs, wires, inanition coils, transmission maintenance service, oil change and remove and replace the shift interlock pedal switch.

      I hope this finds your son't trcuck operating as it should.

      They deserve a -10 PLEASE READ THIS!! DON'T GO THERE!! THERE ******* READ THE BBB REVIEWS F Rating They will charge you a Arm and a leg for Nothing GO SOMEWHERE ELSE I BEG YOU.. Save the headache!! I originally called the speedway location and spoke to I....and she told me it would be a Free Diagnostic but she put her Location Manager on the phone and he suggested there Broadway location because they have transmission builders if needed so I agreed ending up speaking to r..and he said he would take care of everything So car tow to the Broadway location about a week later I call for a update there still doing the diagnostic.. following week I call and no answer 3 days later I call again Still no diagnosis so I asked to speak with r..he's in court so the next week I figured go to the shop r.. said he was sorry and call him directly so couple days later to speak with r..He's in Court again so the next day I went back to the shop they finally gave me a trouble code ****** parking brake won't disengage So I asked them about that and they had no answers then they asked to open the transmission take it out to see i agreed because I needed this done but I asked to look at the bridge sleeve because they are known for breaking on the 7series BMWs couple days go by I called for another update r.. tells me the tech didn't come in and he's been having problems with him and him leaving early. I'm thinking to myself that has nothing to do with me this is business So again another week starts no call from r..so again I go up there r..is there so I asked for a quote to fix he goes in his office and comes back with a 8k quote for a used transmission with a year warranty I felt that was to much and they never explained to brake not disengaging and never a transmission trouble code..I told him I could find one cheaper See they looked at my car and thought and seen $$$ so I found one 5k cheaper with a 3 year warranty. IN the end it was they are a rip off and shouldnt be in business!

      ************, I've searched our records and cannot find a repair order with the name ***************. Is it possible it would be under another name? Although I can't locate your repair order but the time frame you describe I do have an independent recollection of. I talked with "r.." and he does not have enough information to provide me with what transpired.

      I do know we had lost a few people for extended periods of time due to Covid & as you mentioned r.. was handling personal issues through the court system. This information is not an excuse, its simply setting the stage why you were treated so poorly with updates and call backs. As far as the pricing goes, without an RO# or another name I can't do anything further with your complaint/review. You can call any one of the shops and just leave a message with the Repair Order # and tell them its for me, *******

      Once I have that I'll get back with you by phone or in-person, whatever we can work out. Thank you.
