I had been a Jan pro franchisee for 13 years. Last year, I brought a lead into Jan pro. It was the ************************. I then contacted *** pro sales manager *********************** and explained to him that **** has had a difficut time sustaining and maintaining janitorial staff. I asked him to give the **** HR a proposal to see if we could service their school. After several phone calls to **** he continues to state that he had not received word from HR about bringing them on board. A few weeks later, on March 1, 2023, we janitors at **** were told a subcontractor was joining our crew. On March 5, 2023, a woman shows up with a Jan pro apron. I asked who she was and she identified herself as "*********". She said she was working for a Jan pro franchisee named "Junior". I then called *****************************, a Jan pro operation manager, who said he would look into this by calling *********************** ****************************** Approximately 40 min later ****** explained to me that a "mistake was made" and that I would be "compensated". A meeting was then called between me, *****************************, ***************************** and **************************************** During the meeting ****** berated me stating that I never attend meetings and was always "distant". I explained to ****** that he never helped me and that this was the second time in 10 years that *** Pro "accidently" gave my lead to someone else. All four of us agreed the need to part ways. I then sold my franchise back to JP. A week later I get a phone call from ***************************** explaining that he was leaving *** pro to pursue a more lucrative endeavor. ****** stated that ****** had given my ************ lead to his son who is also a JP franchisee. ****** also stated how ****** had it in for me and was "trash talking" me over the years. He also explained how ****** had sabotaged my franchise from the start due to some sort of personal grudge.
