    On February 13, 2025 a moving company I hired picked up belongings at my home in Portland Oregon. He was to move our property from Portland to Puerto Vallarta Mexico with a stop in Tucson Arizona. Upon arrival into Tucson he demanded reimbursement for a tow truck necessary to remove my car from the back of his truck, a lock fee for the storage unit and $900 for transport of my VW Bug. In actuality, our agreement was for him to transport the car all the way to Mexico. We never agreed to pay him any lock fee or tow truck to remove the car from his truck. These were all to be included. Ultimately, he took my car to his personal home, and held it there until I paid him $1,045 extra for the lock, tow truck and transport to Mexico. The police were called and he still refused to turn over the car until I paid his ransom for the car. Eventually, we paid it. We are requesting our return of the $1,045 + the fee required to send the money of $25.00 for him to release the car.
