GoDaddy peddles fake renewals of their products. I received the following email today for a product I never signed up for: You have products that'll cancel if you don't make your move soon. Website Security Basic Connected to new account Cancels on 2/26/2024 $23.88 / 1 Year**Upon calling GoDaddy they said I never subscribed and the product was obsolete. What a scam!GoDaddy.com LLC

I terminated with GoDaddy and did NOT update my credit card with them but they charged me $565.95 anyway!?1. How did they have access to an expired card?2. Is their IT department so corrupt or incompetent that this is common practice?3. I got them to initiate a refund but it won't come in until the new year.These frauds need to be shut down.GoDaddy.com LLC

In early November, we observed the disappearance of all emails from our subfolders. Our homeowner's association acquired a professional website and email package from GoDaddy in September 2023, and the missing emails span from September to November 5th of the current year.Despite numerous attempts through chats, text messages, and calls, I connected with a representative several weeks ago which seemed promising and the only one to assign me an ATS number.. GoDaddy Tech support has acknowledged this as a known issue on multiple occasions, assuring us that the emails would be restored. However, as of today's date, this resolution has not materialized. It's worth noting that we expended an additional $118 to ensure our emails are backed up, a crucial step for maintaining transparency as a homeowners association.Customer Chat is farmed out overseas and lately is non exisitent. I have contacted the *** and two additional executive level employees. The response was a canned response and not helpful in solving the issue. Literally the worst customer support I've ever encountered. Over a month of back and forth with tech support, hours and hours wasted and numerous emails from Go daddy saying the "issue is resolved" and I still don't have email marketing that's functioning. We missed the opportunity to raise money for our non-profit on Giving Tuesday and they clearly don't care. I would tell anyone I know to run far, far away from them. I've been with Godaddy for many years, and I have had very few issues with them. But I have an ssl certificate, in billing, it reflects the bill will be automatically withdrawn from my bank in January when it is due. That is not the case they withdrew it this month, since I hadn't budgeted for it I had them refund the money so it can be withdrawn next month when it is due, as it reflects on my account billing via their website. They refunded the money canceled my ssl and told me all ssl's are paid a month ahead of time regardless of what their billing reflects, so now I don't have a website any longer it was removed from the web. I bought a 12-month ssl and only received 11 months of service on it. I have another one that reflects its withdrawal will be done in Feb I'm told that one will be withdrawn from my account in January. Even though their website clearly says it will be withdrawn in February. If you're going to bill these a month ahead of time fix your billing records to show this. People have to budget for these high-price items.GoDaddy.com LLC

RUN AWAY!! Horrible Experience! Bait and switch is their M.O. Off-shore Chat Customer no-service doesn't even know what they're doing! Thankfully I didn't pull the trigger for the big package which was advertised at $76; then when I got to payment area it was over $120. I got stuck for a $20 one year to reserve a domain. I will cut my losses! Would give 0 stars if possible.GoDaddy.com LLC

Subject: Concerns regarding advertised ********* *** Email Essentials Free Trial I am writing to express my disappointment and concern with the discrepancy between the advertised "free trial" for ********* *** Email Essentials and the actual $50 charge incurred.On the website, the trial is clearly labelled as "free," with no mention of any hidden fees or charges. This misrepresentation is misleading and ultimately led me to pay under false pretenses.While I understand that technical issues like bugs can occur, I was further disappointed by the explanation provided by the ** representative, ****************************** the "free" label to a mere technical error and stating that it will be "removed under it" doesn't address the immediate problem of my unexpected charge.As a valued GoDaddy customer, I believe in transparency and ethical business practices. Misleading advertising not only damages customer trust but also reflects poorly on the company's reputation.Therefore, I request the following:+ Immediate refund of the $50 charge for the "free" trial.Correction of the misleading "free trial" label on your website to ensure accurate information for future customers.Implementation of internal measures to prevent similar miscommunications in the future.I trust that you will take my concerns seriously and address them promptly. Multiple business email accounts have failed, can NOT login. 8 days ago I was told " their team was working on it & within 72 hours",........... still waiting. Was charged $1,918.16 without notice or authorization for site security.Never needed it before, but that didnt matter to the powers that be.There is nowhere to be found, an authorization or approval for this charge.And since the 30 day refund policy is over, (even though Ive been working to get this refunded since before the 30 days), they are refusing to refund my account.Not a customer friendly company.GoDaddy.com LLC
