  Be wary here. First, an appointment means nothing. Made an appointment and still waited almost 2 hours. They inspected my car and provided me a list of "recommended" services. When I told them I didn't have the time or money to do it today, the manager magically and suddenly reduced the cost of the services a substantial amount if I did the work today. I said no again and was told the cost for the oil change was $76. I asked why so much when the advertised special was $39. He lowered the price to $39 and said it should be more but that he was "giving" it me for the lower amount. Very shady all the way around

  This business gets a zero star review from me--but you require me to give a star. I have used this Midas location for several years, but this year they contacted me by text to schedule an oil change. I accepted and showed up today at 8am to find the business under renovation. The waiting room had only one chair (already taken) in an empty room under active renovation, covered with dust, with no internet or other amenities (water or bathroom) for waiting customers. No problem, it was just an oil change that should take no more than 30 min. They didn't even put my car on a lift for 45 mins, and then took all the tires off! No oil change. I had to be at work by 9am, so I told them and they said we do a full car inspection and tire rotation--but I only asked for an oil change. Then they put the tires back and drained the oil (it only took 15 mins) and still charged me for the whole thing ($36). No apologies for the waiting room or the 1 hour of standing up watching the tech looking at his phone instead of changing my oil. I wrote to their **************** about this clear violation of code, having customers in an area under active construction (we should have been give hard hats and masks), but their website would not accept my complaint because of 'invalid zip code'. There is no point of posting a review on their website unless it is a great review. This business should be investigated for their deceptive practices and incomprehensible disregard for customers.
