  I came here for help for one of my children. I was here for 6 hours waiting for intake and then when I was brought back to speak to the provider I could hear kids screaming in the room next to me and it made me uncomfortable and I asked where my daughter was and they said she was in the tv room and not in the room next to us with multiple kids screaming. The provider pot in for a Level 1 with substance treatment from there. No one gave me any direction of what k was waiting for at anytime. I then called to check on my child the next day and they asked if anyone had called me because she didnt meet criteria anymore and no one had beds so they could not keep her. They told me then they had multiple discharges at 3 pm so I could come at 4 pm and I would speak to a provider and then she would be getting dressed at that time and she would be discharged. I came at 4 pm and the. Wa stood k could sit down and wait because its going to be awhile. I then told them whoever I spoke to told me to come at 4 pm and she said they dont do appointments and I asked then why would they tell me a time to come for discharge. They still told me I needed to sit down and wait and they will get to me after 2 people in front of me go. I would NEVER recommend someone to come here. It was unprofessional how I was spoke to and the process of not knowing whats going on and I never received a phone call about my child. I had to call in to get any information and even then it was very limited.

  My daughter had surgery and had general anesthesia and pain meds afterwards. She slipped into a depressed mode and was not eating. We took her to ER to check if she needed fluids. They eventually recommended Mind 24/7 as a resource for her eating disorder and that they could give us an idea of available resources. After we arrived my 19 year old daughter went back to discuss her issues. She had a zoom call with a "provider" who recommended that she be admitted somewhere. My wife went back and spoke with her and she said she did not feel safe there. But the "navigator" told my daughter that if she walked out that they would petition the court and have her institutionalized in a hospital for a minimum of 6 months to a year and that the police would come and handcuff her and take her from her family. We stayed in the waiting room until 2:30 in the morning to be available to her. She said that she was put into a large white room with other patients, male and female with assorted conditions such as substance withdrawals, ***************** and psychotic episodes. All her belongings were taken away and she was told she would stay there until a facility would accept her. That happened after 8 Am the next morning. We went to the facility the next morning and she was released within a very short period of time after an evaluation and invited to attend one of their outpatient programs. Sure with we had gone there first. She said that in her intake interview on zoom that she was asked about suicide and she said she had thoughts but wouldn't ever harm herself.The incident has traumatized her a great deal and has caused her to question who is out there to help and who can manipulated the system to get insurance money from the vulnerable. Especially the comments given to her about her consequence of walking out. And that they would be looking to commit her even if she went somewhere the next morning and found the resources and program that she was looking for when she walked in.

  My son has been refusing help for months. We have been talking and working with him and he finally agreed to seek help. We are from out of town and arrived at around 7:30 AM at the ****** location. He filled out the paperwork, signed and agreed to everything. Five minutes later the receptionist told us that they are short on help and they are calling to find someone to come in to work, but she didn't know how long it would be when someone would be in. I asked her if we waited would he be able to be seen today. She said she didn't know. We walked out to the car and I said I was going to go back in to see if there was another urgent care we could go to. She said yes it is up by the old Metrocenter. I said okay great, we'll go there. She did apologize. When I walked outside my son was gone. I just can't believe this happened.
