On 7-17-2024, I received a letter from Ticketmaster C/O Cyberscout saying that my personal data such as name, contact information and payment card information has been breeched between April 2, 2024 and May 18, 2024. I have never used Ticketmaster.I became skeptical that this may be an attempt to collect my current personal data, so beware of a scam.

So glad I checked here. I got the same letter from TicketMaster, c/o Cyberscout, of a security breach through Ticketmaster, which offered a free year of identity protection through www.mytrueidentity.com. It looks totally legit, but after reading these comments, I am throwing the letter out.

I had the same issue others mentioned below. I received a "data breach letter" when I purchase tickets for a concert. The letter came from ************ care of Cyberscout. Glad I found this on here. I will toss this in the garbage.

Just got a letter in the mail from them today. After reading a few reviews on them here, no thanks I don't need their letter.

I received a letter in the mail from Cyberscout about a data breach from Ticketmaster between 4/2/24 and 5/18/24 for my father who passed away three years ago and was incapacitated two years prior. They offered a free 1 yr. of credit monitoring through www.trueIdentity.com. When I visited the site and at the top of the page it shows "TrueIdentity is not accepting new enrollments." So this definitely sounds like a scam.

I received a letter from Cyberscout supposedly under the auspices of the ** ********** of ******* informing me that one of the ***** vendors, ********, ******************************* had a "data security incident" involving my personal information. This is a SCAM, and I am turning the letter over to the ********** of ******* in hopes they will prosecute this company for impersonating a US government agency. Cyberscout offered "free credit monitoring services," which I am sure are not free. Don't be scammed. Report this to the real **** or just throw the letter in the trash.

I also received a letter addressed to my ex wife of over 20 years under my last name at my address where she has never lived. I am of the opinion this is a phishing attempt to get me to sign up. I'm not interested in a company that uses a marketing scheme such as this to get business. The sentence structure in the letter for some sentences are inappropriate for business communications. In addition below the signature of the Executive Vice President of ********** Mr. ****** there is no phone, address, email contact information. The letter ****** a return address in ******** ** as a PO Box and on the BBB Site it is in *******. Too fishy for my taste *****

Horrible customer service. I created an account using a code sent via snail mail informing me of a security breach. Later I tried to login, but their system would not let me in. I tried the link to reset my password, but never received the email response. I called, and after being on hold for ten minutes, was automatically transferred to another hold line, and eventually hung up on. I called again, and after another ten minutes, spoke to someone, but had to be transferred again. The agent I spoke to supposedly reset my account and sent a new code. Their system said the code was invalid. I called the number provided, and after another ten minute wait, was told I had to speak to someone else. I wouldn't trust this company to monitor anything.

Received a letter stating that my information had been compromised and fraudulently accessed from a medical facility. A toll free number was offered to ask more questions than those given in the letter. When I called, it was obvious that the representative had a VERY STRONG accent, so I asked his name and where the call center was located. He ended up having to spell his name for me and stated that the call center is in ************. I politely stated that I would rather call the stateside medical office where my information was stolen.
