  The establishment is really nice. But the picnic benches have splintered. I got an 2 inch splinter in my leg and it broke off in my skin. When I tried to tell an employee she said she would send over a manager and no one came. So we tried to tell another employee and no one cared. I had to pull an inch of wood out of my leg. Be careful of the benches. I was wearing pants and it still made its way deep into my leg

Were currently inspecting all outdoor seating areas and beginning immediate maintenance on any damaged or worn benches to prevent this from happening again.   Pecan Lake Entertainment uses deceptive tactics to bring people to their venue. I was gifted a gift card through their pecan lake website and was denied the ability to use It at one of their partner locations inside the venue. Nowhere on their website, gift card purchase or email does It say It is not valid at the third party restaurants or entertainment areas. Also, their website markets dining as if dining on their website as if dining is a part of the Pecan Lake Family. When helped by the manager of ********* (a supposed third party) she was wearing a Pecan Lake Entertainment polo and was under the impression although a different system, the card could still be redeemed. When she went to seek help - a manager wearing the same polo came to explain they are separate entities. When asked about the company logo and why there was nothing to distinguish they were separate he invited himself around the counter to engage the conversation in my personal space. There was no resolution. I paid my bill and went to seek higher management support.The owner called stating I was irrational, lost my temper, and told me I was in the wrong for my actions (although his manager came to my side of the counter). He proceeded to tell me they are all separate and there was no further action he would take except say sorry. I feel this is deceptive marketing and false advertisement of what Pecan Lake Entertainment is. Due to the way the experience was resolved and the conversations that I had, I would not recommend doing business with this company.

While all of these establishments are located within the Pecan Lake venue and are promoted as part of the overall experience, they each operate independently with their own management systems, point-of-sale systems, and gift card programs.Because of this structure, gift cards purchased through Pecan Lake Entertainment are valid for use with attractions or activities directly managed by Pecan Lake Entertainment, but not redeemable at the independently owned restaurants or third-party vendors on-site. Similarly, each restaurant may offer their own gift cards for use at their individual locations.We agree that clearer communication is always valuable, and we are currently working to update our website, gift card information, and signage to better explain these distinctions to future guests.Were sorry that the situation was not resolved in a way that felt respectful and informative. That is not the experience we aim to provide.
