      I stayed at this Lodge back on September 29, 2023. The first night we stayed I was attached by bed bugs. That morning after being attacked that night I went straight to the office to let them know. The manager said she could move us into another cabin or we could leave. I was there for a wedding so it wasn't that easy to just leave. We took another cabin, that cabin was not that clean. The following week I started having a bad reaction to the bites and had to be treated at a urgent care facility where they told me I was having a bad reaction to the bites. When I called the manager later that week to let her know, she was very rude. I am going through medical issues till because if this. I feel they should have to pay for my medical bills and have to be made to reimburse me my money I paid for the weekend. Also, the pain and suffering that I am still going through. I want people to know how nasty this place is and to be careful if you do stay there.

      After visiting Christopher creek lodge I fell in love and decided to relocate to the ****** area. I have been in *********** and decided to move closer to Christopher creek. When I contacted the lodge they informed me that they had just redone the ** park and it was the perfect time for me to move there, I had already been on their waiting list for 10 months. When I went to check out the lodge it was snowy so was not really visible at the time. I talked with the park manager and decided that Christopher creek lodge would be a great place for me. At that time I paid a full YEARS lot rent and was planning on moving the next month after the snow was melted and the weather was nicer. One week before I was to move there I decided to stop by to see exactly where I would be. The spot that was chose for me had a broken refrigerator, a tire, junk, no concrete pad and unlevel ground. The residents of the park made it feel like unsafe conditions. I immediately decided that I was not going to move there and that I would need my money back. I was so excited to move up there and am now highly upset that I was lead to believe that the park was updated and somewhere that I could enjoy myself. The company informed me that I would have to pay one months rent because they need a 30 day notice. First of all I didn't even move in and I did not stop them from being able to rent the space. It wasn't even ready for anybody to rent. They sent me back the money and kept 10% which is more than one months rent. I am disputing this matter with disability and will receive the rest of my money in time. My review is to ensure that others know these people are not honest about the business they are running.
