    We ordered a 16' *** for a move to ******* in March 2023. It was delivered as promised to our home in ******* area, loaded and picked up as promised and put in ***'s storage as agreed. Storage fee was put on autopay from my bank. All is well so far. Purchased home in ******* and try to make arrangements for *** to be delivered to our house in June. When speaking to customer service rep I was told the transportation and delivery fee has increased over $2,500 from original price given in March. After quite a "discussion" with customer rep, then supervisor, was told would receive call back in ***** hrs. Rec'd call back with new price that was $1,000 off of new price, we agreed to this **** Made arrangements for pick up from storage on 6-9 from ** storage and deliver to ******* home ****. Money was immediately taken from ck acct for transportation of ***. Waited all day in our empty house called in afternoon for expected delivery time and was told it was still in **. Reason given was storage wasn't paid. After "discussion" and proving it was on autopay, therefore paid, new reason given I didn't sign form that I authorized "long distance transportation!! When scheduling delivery I made sure to ask if they had everything necessary and was assured yes. After another "discussion", that was dropped and new delivery date of July 3. Checked my bank today and found ***s has taken another $1,396.36 for storage!! I did not authorize this payment/withdrawal and put a dispute with bank. Praying I get the *** delivered July 3 with all my household goods and furniture.

    Initial interaction was decent, delivery and interaction with delivery driver was awesome, however my only complaint is the fact that charges are month to month and not prorated which is my biggest complaint and makes me wish I had gone with a competitor that offered nearly the same product for half the price and would have prorated the month that I did not need the storage ***. I will not utilize the services of this organization again because of this tremendous rip off, now with that said even if they would have taken the rest of the month that I did not use the product and used that toward the pickup cost I would have appreciated that but thats not even a thought to the people who are looking at the great bottom line.Now I am even more displeased after being told Friday October 28th that the *** would be picked up either on 2 or 3 November and calling today 2 November to find out a time frame I was told that now I still have to wait until November 16th to have this thing pickled up from my property even though it is empty and ready for pick up, **************** is Horrible.I would not use ***S again if they were the last storage unit company available.

    In June 2018 we ordered 2 large Pods to be delivered to ******************************************************** completely loaded the pods and have them picked up at the ******* storage location. Approximately 5 years later (Aug. 2022) we moved back to ********** ( *****************************) and had to 2 pods delivered to home location. Upon opening the pods; one was full and the other, only have full. We knew many of our items were gone. After continually discovering our lost items (and still discovering) we are aware that someone either picked or used a master lock to remove our property. Art work, furniture (3 wooden benches) , kitchen/dining items, family gifts, wheelbarrows, large pottery, large decor mirrors, etc. are now gone (forever).POS states all items will be stored in environmentally secured area. I do have pics of many of the items. Obviously, not so for ours'. We paid PODS for pick up, delivery (twice) and a monthly automatic Amex charge of $409.90 X 5 years....that's over $20,000+. I tried to contact PODS by phone with no help. I pray the happens to no one else. Please help...Thank for your help.
