  KUSTOM CABS LLC I had the kitchen cabinets painted by this company, they came 7 days before starting the process to remove all the cabinet doors and drawer frontages, so presumably they would be painting them all at the workshop over the following 10 days I was told that they would require access a week later to do the project and that They would need to have access for five full days to complete the project. Well it didnt quite work out that way, the ******* was at the house for a total of 131/2 hours over three days (pretty much 41/2 hours each day)Day 4 NOTHING, no message, no work done, so by 10:30 I called and was told NO WORK would be done in the house on thursday and friday AND that they would need to come back the next week to install the doors! Needless to say NOBODY bothered to inform me.At very start and on 3 other ocassions I had told them I would not be available the following week but clearly THEY IGNORED this and he was inflexible about the time he would come the FOLLOWING WEEK.In the process of preparing the cabinets the ******* broke a curtain fixture but the owner told me That was my fault as the part was old and brittle. So whereas I would expect any company to make good any damage they caused in my home, that does not seem to be the case with this company.Communication was bad and I would say customer service is NOT a strong point with this company. The final job looks OK although I was surprised how little time was spent on the final layers of paint( surrounds for 30 cabinet doors and 13 drawers took less than 4 hours) Sadly I was not here so I have no idea how many coats went on but with drying time it seemed quick to me) I guess I will find out over the next few months. Some areas certainly need touching up and 2 doors are quite crooked and they were not before the job was done.

  We apprciate your business and, as always are dedicated to providing the best quality finishes available. We did field a number of complaints by you and responded to each and every one. The first complaint was that we were taking too long to complete the project, but then once you realized we were ahead of schedule, the complaint shifted to us moving too quickly. All said and done, our finisher did an outstanding job refiishing your kitchen cabinets with at least 4 coats of the best lacquer available. The doors were taken off sight to finished in our shop using our state-of-the-art cabinetry spray booth and furniture-grade spray equipment (as we do with all of our happy customers). And when you say "Curtain Fixture", I am certain you are referring to the plastic rod clip (which did not have a curtain), that broke when we took down the masking paper. This was an old and brittle clip that you do not have a curtain fixture to apply to it. In fact, you made it clear to my worker that you intended to replace those old clips with a new rod. We did however, offer to pay you $5.00 for the replacement cost of the clip, but you were asking for an entire curtain rod assembly (which you didn't have to begin with).We appreciate your business and your prompt payment in which you made when your amazing refinish was completed in a timely manor.
