    I closed on my home in April of 2024. The Seller hired Lightning Pest Control to conduct an initial inspection and treatment of the home and the bond was be issued in the "Buyers" name at closing. Lightning issued a clearance letter stating the home had no visible signs of termites so we closed on the home. After closing we found active termites and now every floor has been removed in the home, some plywood, insulation and the home has been taken down to the studs looking for termites as there can be more than one colony. We have found no signs that the home was treated and looked in the bait stations and only found "monitoring bait" instead of termite bait. My real estate agent contacted them and they offered the initial $895.00 back however that does not even begin to start to cover the teak flooring that was removed, marine grade plywood at $150.00 a sheet, insulation, contractors time plus we cannot move into our home as its missing simple things like FLOORING as the floor joist have termite damage. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

    I bought my house in 2020 and used Lightning, through my realtor. They never answered calls for me or returned them and I never seen them on the property. **** is ending and now I am searching for another company to Bond. This has been so aggravating. Especially during the termite swarms we have in the south.

    Bought a house on ************** , Lightning Pest Control held the termite bond we never received a renewal notice so I called to check on It . I called several times , I finally received a call back , he said that he would check his records and get back with me. I havent heard back 2 weeks later if they wont return your calls then I have to question will they honor their termite bond I have taken my business elsewhere
