My father and I purchased a used engine from this company in January 2024. Once it arrived the mechanic immediately notified us that the engine was non-functional. To be in compliance with the warranty conditions we reached out by phone and email immediately. Two months later we still have had no response from the company. We are calling multiple times a week at this point. Every time we call it does not connect and no one ever responds to our emails. This is a total scam.

I contacted Part Network mid August looking for a motor for my Dodge truck. ****** was great to work with in the beginning and was very easy to get a hold of if I had questions. I ordered my motor August 22, 2023 and it arrived it arrived September 14th. After I ordered the motor it was almost impossible to reach anyone when calling their office. ****** was always out and I always received her voice mail. I would leave a voice mail, send her a text and email and would not hear back from her or anyone most of the time. ****** did reply via text a couple of times. I understand she had some stuff she was dealing with outside of work that kept her out of the office. When I called the other numbers I would have to call repeatedly before I would get a live person on the phone. When the motor arrived I was not impressed and was very unhappy with how it looked. The motor looked like it had been sitting in someone's yard that lived on a dirt road for a year. It was filthy, some of the wires were cut, the throttle body had a old dirty rag stuffed in it to keep debris out, and the motor was strapped to a wooden pallet with bailing wire. I called, emailed and text several times but never got a reply or call back from anyone. My mechanic told me not to stress and let him get into it to check it all out. He called me a week later and said he has the engines swapped and my truck is ready to go. He said that once he got the motor taken apart and was able to look inside the motor and inspect it that he was confident it was a good motor. He brought my truck to me and said it runs great. I have been driving it for three days now and I have to say..... I am very happy with the motor. It runs great, has great power and runs quiet. An experience that started off good, and then quickly turned questionable ended on a great note with the motor I bought from Part Network running great. Never judge a book by its cover, or in this case never judge a motor by the dirt on it.

This company LIES. They say the test these engines, but they don't. I got the engine it looked like it had set out in the car without a hood. I put the new water pump, thermostat, timing belt, new tensioner, new valve cover gasket. Then I went to put a new pan gasket on. Drained the oil(looked like mud) that was not good. Then I started to drop the pan and it rattled when it started to come down(thought, that doesn't sound good). Once the pan was down the cylinder number one connecting rod was shattered. (If they would have done compression check before engine left yard it should have never got out of the yard) I was p***** if I hadn't drop the pan to put a new gasket on, I would have had it installed. Then I really would have been p****d even more than I was. So I had to send motor back for them to send me another engine that they Lie about being tested. I think the just go out and point at a car and say send the parts off that one! Because they don't check them like they say they do. I had to buy and engine from a different company, and got it going in a day. With no refund, This policy *****. If I had done something to mess the engine up. I could live with it had they did what they say they do. This company is ripping people off right and left. They should be shut down. They give salvage yards a bad name. I hope when I get the replacement engine (that I don't need NOW) is in better shape then the last sh**y engine that they sent the first time. I would be embarrassed to work for such lying company. I feel sorry for the women in the office that have to deal with **** poor employees sending out inferior parts. I am sure they have to hear and deal with unhappy customers. Apparently the owner of this business doesn't have a clue of what's going on, or doesn't care. As long as his pockets get lined with cash. My faith in this company to do the right thing in the future on a scale of **** is a minus 6 (-6).

These guys 3 year warranty is a joke. They advertise a three year warranty, however its stipulations make it simply garbage. Bought a motor and Transmission from these lovely people and the transmission had been ground down on the bottom half. Covered in ************* and silicon. Even the bolt was ground in half. What kind of quality control does this place have? Reached out for help and was told it was my fault for not reporting it within 15 days. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THESE CRIMINALS

With all due respect, EVERY WARRANTY HAS TERMS AND CONDTIONS... Ours clearly states to please inspect the part when delivered, any damaged, wrong or defective parts must be returned with in 30 days, You bought these parts in August of last year, you have had the part for over 6 months, and we can not file a claim with the shipper or the disturber, as the ***** you have to read the warranty that you signed and agreed to. WE ARE NOT CRIMINALS, WE SELL USED PARTS and all we ask is for you to check your part when you get it, and if any issues **************... The 3 year warranty is an EXTENDED warranty, you have to install the part to activate the extended warranty this is also clearly stated on our website and all of your paper work that you signed..

I bought an engine from them and had it shipped to ********. When the part got to me it was 2 weeks late and broken. I was calling and emailing them back and forth for 3 weeks about a new engine or a refund. They can and got the engine with no replacement and no refund as of yet. This has been going on since 12/07/2022. It is 02/02/2023 and no refund or replacement engine. I am on a fixed income and expected for them to be a reputable business and all that has happened is that I have been scammed out of $2700.00.

I'm giving Part-Network a five star rating because purchasing a function-able, good priced used engine is very risky. Since installed, my (Part-Network) used engine has driven 500 miles. So far, so good. 2022 ... Sept 19: initial payment, Sept 22: warranty submission, Oct 07: my engine arrived. I pressure washed the gummy oil off the used engine. As stated in the (three year) warranty (I read three times), don't expect the (used) engine to arrive looking beautiful. I carefully studied and observed the majority of the purchasing process. The salvage yard & shipping process took longer than expected (out of Part-Network's control). Part-Network (Debbie & Tamara) were patient with my calls (regarding the delays). The process wasn't flawless, but my main concern is the end result. Additional note: Follow the warranty's installation hints. Example: If the mechanic decides not to replace a specific gasket, have the mechanic confirm that gasket is reliable.

I ordered a engine for my 2011 Chevy Cruze, I signed and returned all information that was sent to me concerning the warranty and other items, My engine ran hot, I had it installed in Feb 2022 and had to spend lots of other money for other parts to get it running right, And by the end of June 2022, my ordered engine ran hot , Cracked the head. So I sent a list of things they ask for and only gave me seven days to get all the things I had done to my engine to them. Now 1 and 1/2 week later they are telling me I didn't sign the warranty and they can not honor my warranty, and the the head and cylinders are not covered, Reason being the most common cause is overheating of the engine, I replaced all the things on the engine that could cause overheating and sent proof of purchase to them. This company ****s, I would never refer them to anyone, They need to go out of business. They claim I didn't sign the warranty. So they will not honor the warranty.
