I visited the ************* on July 3. While paying for the time. I asked if I could get the bumpers like my son. I was told no. So, I thought Ill just try and see if I can do it. Trying not to make a fuss over it. Because my child really wanted to bowl. After bowling for just a little while. I realized it was just not working. My disability was interfering with my ability to bowl. But the bumpers could stop the ball from going into the gutter. My husband noticed the dis comfort and how most of my ***** were gutter *****. So he asked the cashier for the bumpers. Explaining that I have a disability and they would help. He was told that they are too expensive. And they could not put them up. If it wasnt for our child we would have left. But we didnt want to ruin his time at the bowling alley.

We have a strict policy that no one over the age of 10 may use the bumpers, unless they are in a wheelchair. This person was not in a wheel chair, nor, according to their compliant, not able to roll a bowling ball down the lane. The fact that she could not knock any pins down is irrelevant and does not constitute us needing to break our policy. Had she been in a wheel chair or under the age of 10 we would have gladly accommodated her with the use of our bumpers. We are a privately owned business with the right to have our own set of policies and procedures, if the customer does not like our policies they may choose to not frequent our establishment.
