      I would give a zero if I could.This company should be shut down. Scroll and look at the reviews and their resolutions, they cancel and refund. That's it? Yet they still do it. I was impacted by this scam this week. Looking for property tax info, came across publicrecords.info search, tried to acquire records, paid a $1.00 fee and was emailed a PDF.Was just informed by my bank that a charge of $28.95 was made, did I make it? I refused it, did not make it. ******* cancelled my card, advised to update auto payment requests. Looked up email thread from '**** at publicrecords dot info' complained about fraudulent charge.Told I would be refunded $1.00, $28.95 refunded and my account closed. WHAT ACCOUNT? I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR AN ACCOUNT/MEMBERSHIP. I NEVER AUTHORIZED $28.95.The website is designed to look like the official city website. At no time do they ever disclose the creation of a profile or charge of $28.95.WHY IS THIS COMPANY STILL OPERATING? They are committing fraud and all they do is, "sorry, we cancelled your account and refunded your $1, $28.95."Again, WHY ARE THEY OPERATING. THIS IS FRAUD.

      The charges listed per report are $1 and you have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see that you will be charged $28.95 within three days EVERY MONTH. The way this is listed on PropertyRecord.com is deceiving, deceitful and misleading. If you get a report for $1, CANCEL IMMEDIATELY AFTER getting the report. If the company has any decency whatsoever, it will list the charges and policy AT THE TOP OF THE **** in much greater detail. It is the right thing to do. My refund was requested after calling customer service. I have to wait three to five business days to see if it actually shows up.

      This company listed a charge of $1.00 for a public record search. Then billed me for $28.95 without my permission or knowledge. They are a scam/fraud system which doesn't openly list the price they charge for a service. I contacted my credit card company to halt this fraudulent payment. I am contacting the Florida State Attorney General regarding this company.

      Unfortunately, there isn't a "no star" rating. I guess I'm the lucky one here. I was only charged $9.95 a month for the last five months. They are operating under multiple websites: autohistorychecks.com and cardatausa.com are the ones I am aware of. I would imagine there are other websites that they use to scam people with their $1.00 searches for information and then unauthorized charges to you credit card. I'm going to give my bank positive feedback now for catching their nonsense.

      i ordered a 1 dollar find fee to search for liens on a property and didnt get one..next thing I know they took ** dollars out of my bank account and didnt tell me....I only wanted to pay a dollar i wrote them....they said they made a mistake and would refund my money that was a month ago and still haven't received any refund,,,i think they are ripping off me off and maybe other people that get on their web site.
