    Our air conditioner hasn't worked in the 11 weeks since our first day here August 10. They were kind enough to offer us a portable ac, but only after citing us with a lease violation for the window unit we had to run out and buy at 11p.m. our first night here. The portable ac keeps our bedroom comfortable, but the rest of the apartment stays around 76. If I use the oven, the temperature increases to 80 or above. We are being constantly reassured that they're doing everything possible to remedy the situation, but like I said, it's been 11 weeks. And we are still having to pay full rent.On more than one occasion,maintenance tells us someone will be by on a specific day or at a specific time, but no one shows, and no one reaches back out to us until we put another work order in. Communication is severely lacking. The leasing office claims they care and feigns frustration at the problem, but it ceases to be their problem at the end of every day. It's our problem 24/7.I left a negative review on ****** and a professional reply was given from the apartment manager. However, she emailed me personally that same day to tell me that she didn't believe my complaints and she was very rude and dismissive. The apartments are also infested with ants. Management knows, but refuses to do anything about it, telling us that we have to handle the infestation ourselves.
