    ACW was able to assist us in an electrical inspection that required a quick turnaround. They also followed up to ensure what they provided was acceptable to the insurance company. All correspondence was prompt.

    Beware ACW Electric.??Hired them for a job accepted Quote then you don't hear from them for a month finally after calling them daily to get them to come out. In the mean time the rest of the job is pushing on. They finally show up and Quit. Owner wont call and explain sends an employee out and says they aren't going to do the job. You have been warned

    This customer accepted our estimate to run ************************ for his garage. This estimate included electrical and trenching for the underground conduit. He also informed us that he had gotten a permit for all work including electrical through ********************** Permits. The customer was not ready to do the work when he accepted our estimate as we were informed by him that he was waiting on a pole for us to bring electrical from. We waited to hear back from him so that we could get him on our schedule. When he called us to let us know that he was ready for the job to be done we got him on our schedule. Before he called us with the go ahead we called him to make attempts to get him on schedule. He informed us that he still was not ready at the time of our calls. He also informed us that he planned to do the trench work himself and asked us if we would take it off of his invoice when the job was complete. We did agree to do so. During this time we had many days of rain so trenching could not be done by us nor our customer. He called us back on 4-20-2023 to schedule the work and informed us that he had done the trenching and set the pipe for conduit to be run through. We promptly sent our crew to do the work on the same day due to the fact that rain showers were supposed to be moving in the following day and we did not want his trench to cave in causing him any inconvenience. However when our electricians got on site they noticed that the trenching nor the location of the pipe that he had installed were up to code and some areas were already covered in concrete. Our electricians followed protocol by calling in to our office to let our operations manager know the problem and at that point our operations manager drove to the job and deemed that the trenching and pipe would not pass code inspection. Our operations manager did inform him of the reasons why we could not start the job. The customer proceeded to anger and at that time our operations manager called the owner of ACW Electric LLC and he did get on the phone with him via video chat and explained why we had to pull off of the job. That being said the customer did get an explanation as to why we could not proceed with the job not only by our operations manager but by the owner of ACW Electric. After getting this BBB complaint we did contact ********************** Inspections and found out that the inspector informed him that his trench would not pass inspection due to the trench being over 185 feet and partially covered already. The customer was informed by the ********************** inspector that he needs to contact engineering with ********** Utilities to get it corrected before calling for a rough inspection. At this point from what we can gather he has not made contact with any departments that he was told by the inspector to contact. We had no other choice but to pull off of the job due to the fact that if we had done this job it would have been a safety issue and not to code. There were several issues with the customers work that we had no choice but to pull off of the job and void the contract and not do the work. ACW has lost money for the material preorder for this job, we also lost time and money by sending our hourly paid employees and company vehicle to a job that we could not start. We take pride in our reputation and do not deserve to have this review to post just because we had to pull off of an unsafe job.
