      believe these good reviews must be from people who could monitor Paul Davis' small jobs because their work was appallingly bad for us. We had moved out of our lovely home, completed needed repairs, painting, cleaning and accepted a great offer. Our potential buyers noticed some mold from an old shower leak. On advice from our realtor Pam T****, we called them to see if they could complete the mold remediation and subsequent repairs. Jacob P****** came out and sent us an estimate Aug 18 for the remediation half of the job. It was pretty costly, but they had good reviews, and he promised it would be complete within 2 weeks. He then increased the estimate on Aug 23 and we reluctantly agreed to that due to the time crunch we were in. Jacob contacted us Sept 9 and said they were complete and it was time for the rebuilding cabinets and repairing portion. He referred us to Bill O****** to finish. Bill was ill and unable to give us an estimate or time frame so agreed we'd be best off going elsewhere. We did, and that person was appalled at the thousands of dollars worth of destruction of a large section of our home-broken counter tops for no reason, plastic still up, and our thermostat set at 58°. I believe they cannot be trusted unsupervised . Thank goodness we found ******* Contractors and ****** cabinets, who provided twice the quality and speed. ******* Contractors also does mold remediation.

      Ms O’Maera, Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. I’m sorry we were not able to offer you reconstruction services. As you know our reconstruction manager had some health issues which were out of our control. The estimates we provide are line by line detail showing what work will be done. You understood and approved the first estimate before we began work then approved the second estimate once we were able to see the damages extended beyond the original scope. All our mold remediation is in accordance with the IICRC S500 and S520 standard. We are certified in mold remediation, licensed, insured and Scott is a licensed Alabama home builder. We do charge more than the handyman claiming to do mold remediation because we guarantee our work and spend a lot more money to do it safely and legally. We have photos showing the countertops were undamaged when we stored them. Had you made us aware something was wrong when it was discovered we may have been able to assist in correcting it, but it has been three months, and this is the first we have heard of it. We purposely leave the plastic containment up to prevent drywall dust from spreading throughout the house during the reconstruction. We could have taken it down at any time had you requested it. We will speak with our technicians about checking the thermostat before leaving the jobsite.

      There are numerous witnesses to how ******************************* Emergency Services left my house, including the broken counter top. I texted ***** Pittman about the mess that was left and the wasteful thermostat setting and he texted back he would tale care of it. That was the last I heard from them. As I said before, I was in a super time crunch; I did not want to *** so I decided just to warn others.
