I have this business a 2-star rating because the workers who installed my internet system were courteous and did a decent job. That, however, is where my good experience ends. After receiving an over-the-phone estimate from the person who actually did my work, I agreed and scheduled a date. I was told Id be charged mileage, equipment, and labor costs that began accruing after the work began. The job lasted 90 minutes as confirmed by the workers. I asked for an invoice or some sort of estimate before their departure. I was given nothing but a shouldnt be more than $500. They left, and soon the invoice came. All was great and fair - until I was charged for mileage PLUS an hourly charge of $140 for travel time. This was never disclosed at any point in time, and after speaking with the owner, I was ensured that I was wrong. Can the customer ever be right? Not with this company. During this conversation with the owner, who was very condescending to me and told me that I was lucky to have gotten work because we are booked out at least two months, I got no where. The workers even told my wife and me that work would only begin after they had developed a game plan to save time on the labor costs. All the while, we were certain our labor costs only meant at the job site. Finally, the scathing letter I received was filled with false accusations that can truly support as false. They only agreed to work with you because you harassed them. I have phone records to dispute this. All in all, i feel strongly that a courteous small business supporter like myself deserves better treatment. I would want that from anyone. Theres no reason to lie and belittle the customer. I felt that a lot of this could have been handled better by the owner. Maybe there was a disconnect and/or lapse in communication between he and his installer. They were obviously not on the same page. ****** learned here. I will never have work done again without a written estimate.
