    If I could give Southern Service a zero rating, I would give them a negative rating. My AC unit stopped working during Memorial Day weekend (May 27th). I contacted my home warranty company to resolve my issue and I specifically expressed to them that I did not want Southern Services to service my home. However, the Rep ensured me that this time would be different from the last time that they came to my home. The guy that works for Southern Services didn't come out until a week later, only to realize that "the home warranty" provided the wrong part (compressor). The guy told me that the part was wrong and that he would go to the warehouse and exchange it for the right one and that he would be back in an hour. Long story short, the hour turned into 2 weeks!! We went back and forth with the home warranty company about why the guy that came out on June 7th and promised to return never returned and also took my old compressor with him. While waiting on Southern Services to fix my AC unit, I explain to the home warranty that I was tired of waiting because we have had weeks with 100+ heat index. I looked into hiring another HVAC company and they came out and realized the guy from Southern Services took my compressor. So the new company was going to charge me 3x what the home warranty was willing to pay. After weeks of no AC, we were assigned a different Rep from the home warranty company and she did an amazing job in following up and updating us on when Southern Services would return to complete the job. On June 20th, the same rude, unprofessional guy came to my home to complete the job only to be rude and tell me "you just need to pay because I got other jobs to do". He was very rude in explaining the job that he completed to me. His eyes were red and he smelled like a barrier of alcohol. I ended up calling the Owner (****) and he was unapologetic and rude as well. This company is very unprofessional and do not need to be included in home warranty vendors list.

    Do not do business with this company. If it was possible to give this company a negative number, I would. July 2023, they showed up at my home in regular clothes, not in any attire that would represent a business. They had to order parts for my unit three times. _____ said he would call me. He didn't. I called them every morning. After about a month, they got the unit working, but it ran continuously. I called daily for about a week asking them to return and finish the job properly. He complained about the attic being hot like it was my fault. They never came back. Ultimately, another company came out and properly installed the appropriate parts and now my unit functions as it was designed to do.

    Southern Services has come to my home about 6 times to work once on a package unit and the rest on my upstairs split unit. Im currently living with a huge 4x4 hole in my ceiling because they replaced the unit upstairs and it caused a massive flood through the ceiling into my living room. I have had so many issues with this company prior- they do not stand behind their work and told me the pan was cracked. I really didnt want them back out. However thats who old republic sent. Once here for an hour **** says- well I maybe shouldve blown that line out- this is not the issue and it had just been done right before the damage. They do not care that their is damage in your house- they are not held responsible. **** also admitted he has put many machines in this last year that wound up having a cracked pan. This is ridiculous, we pay out of pocket each time this happens and they really could care about fixing it or that it continues causing damage to my home. Its been almost a week now and still no reply in a fix from them.
