- Additional Info:BBB files indicate that this business has multiple complaints and scam tracker reports. Complainants report receiving harassing phone calls from the business. Complainants report representatives from Go Installment Loans attempting to retrieve personal information from consumers by telling them they are approved for loans which the consumers claim they did not apply for. Complainants also report that they continue to receive phone calls from the business after requesting to be taken off of their call list.
Per information provided by a complainant, a caller by the name of Harry G**** said he was calling from Go Installment in Galveston, Texas. Looking online, BBB found numerous reports (http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-409-356-6076/2) from other people around the country who had experienced the same calls from the same name and location. Like complainants, these consumers had been threatened with being turned over to the FBI or having their credit destroyed by the business. BBB attempted to contact the business regarding this pattern and to date has received no response. BBB advises consumers to be cautious when doing business with businesses that they've never dealt with before and to always research businesses.
