    The fan on my Heat Pump was not working. At 9 AM on 1/27/2025 *** Carter HVAC arrived at my home to troubleshoot and repair. The tech determined I needed a new fan motor. The fan motor was within warranty so the part was free. The tech went to get the part then returned to replace it. At 10:30 AM, 90 minutes after initial arrival, the part was installed, the fan was working, and the tech had his tools packed up in his vehicle. I was charged $448.95....for 90 minutes of labor.This is $299.30 per Labor HR. I had to insist that the invoice properly reflect the work as all labor because the tech initially listed all of the $448.95 as "warranty services".Be advised, if you use this company, they will charge you $300.00 per Labor HR. I feel this is outrageous and a sad abuse. Needless to say, I will not use them again.
