Other than the shock of the sticker price, my experience with Renewal by Andersen and their representatives was totally positive. The salesman (****) and the project manager (******) were punctual, courteous and professional. I feel confident that my new windows will be installed with care and precision once they are received. Renewal by Andersen has exceeded my expectations.

****** and *** were here to measure out the window opening. They explained everything that they would be doing. I was very pleased with their professional manner. The were pleasant and very enthusiastic about the product and the company. Cant wait to have our window installed. The windows are expensive, but having had issues with cheaper vinyl frames we were happy with the stronger and higher quality products. ******, ************, and ********** from ********* all were very friendly and knowledgeable, and helped to meet our challenges.Renewal by Andersen of Alaska

First of all the windows are expensive but great. I'm happy with the windows but not with the company. We replaced every window in the house as well as two patio doors. This was done in 2 phases. The salesperson was the same both times and wonderful. ****** came to measure both times and was wonderful too. **** was our installer the 1st phase and was requested and booked for the 2nd phase. We had to schedule 2 months out to secure ****. Well 3 days before install they called to say they were sending someone else. Otherwise we wouldn't have had to wait 2 months for them to be installed. This installer wasn't as clean and efficient as ****. In fact the boss had to come out and clean up and pick up for an hour afterwards. Hence why we waited and requested the 1st installer. They told me a boss would be out everyday during the 4 day project and that ended up being only one day. The other major problem we had was the 6 month window on the loan. Not only did we open 2 loans for the 2 phases it wasn't completed in the time frame for either phase so that turned into 4 loans. Now my credit line is affected by this! During the 1st phase a window was lost and it took an additional 3 months for that to be replaced. Total of 9 months for completion of the 1st phase and 7 months for the 2nd phase. A screen was not at 100%, back in October and we are still waiting for that 9 months later. After they come out to measure its a mess with communication until the end. Lack of communication and alot of telling people what they want to hear just to please people. During the 1st phase they gave us our installation date and requested for us to be ready with blinds and curtains removed. We did all of that to be called 72 hours before that the order was delayed for another month, causing us to sit in our house like a fish bowl for 4 weeks. Like I said.. the windows are fantastic but the process is horrible. You also never see a bill, statement, or printout from them.Review fromBobbie O
