Took our dog in as an emergency patient showing symptoms of a heart attack. She was sent home with us with little to no advice except to call back if her symptoms got worse. The symptoms worsened and we called 17 times in a hour with no answer, rushed to the 24/7 clinic and no one answered the door. We never got an answer until after our dog passed. If staffing is an issue don’t offer 24/7 emergency service if you aren’t available. I’m a very reasonable person but in a life and death situation i believe if you advertise all hours you should be available.
