      I have found their billing / refund practices to be unethical. They bill their clients in 3 month increments before the start of a 3 month service period. If their service becomes unsuitable for the client’s needs, they refuse to provide a prorata refund if cancellation is requested part way through the prepaid period. I must admit that I failed to read paragraph #2 of their fine print on the reverse side of their service agreement. That paragraph specifically gives Safeguard the legal power to refuse a prorata refund. But, I still find it unreasonable to refuse to provide a refund for the prepaid service time.
