    My vehicle was broke down on Highway 427 on 21st of March 2024. In lieu, I called TD auto club for towing. Dispatch person said please stay in the vehicle for your safety and asked as much details as possible like, where the vehicle is parked, left side, right side of the highway, interchanges etc. After getting all those details he said towing vehicle will reach you in 90 minutes. After 15 minutes, again I received a call and he said that I have to pay $20.40 as part of Service charges over the phone. It was surprising for me as I was told that this is complimentary service.
    After 70 minutes the Towing guy called me and said I am seeing you and you are on the highway so I’m unable to tow your vehicle because we are not authorized to tow on highways. You have to call either 511 or CAA and he left. His refusal was annoying, very disappointing and desperate for me because I had explained everything clearly to the dispatcher.
    After some time an other tow truck popped up in front of me and asked for the service. So I got his service in $450 cash. In this way I got out myself from the unsafe and clumsy situation.
    I experienced that TD Auto-club is playing the lives of customers on active highways. Left customers in cold and dangerous condition. Those are the traumatized un forgetful moments for me.
