      They are selling "Every Child Matters" t-shirts for the second year in a row with a donation of 1$ per shirt to the cause. This is fake allyship. Profiting off this movement is atrocious, especially from a company built on colonialism. To make it worse, when I attempted write a review on their site, they insisted I confirm my email from an email with an invalid link, nulling my review.

      September 3, 2022, I went shopping for a better bra so I went to the Bay (Place D'Orleans , Ontario) . I received assistance from employee Eimay, who was kind, professional and very knowledgeable. With her help, I bought 2 bras that are so comfortable. I can't thank you enough Eimay. With employees, like her it is a great pleasure to shop at the Bay. Monique

      ** ***** ** ******** ***** **** * **** * **** ** *** bought furniture in Mar 2022. arrived July 2022. items arrived damaged, replaced in August and new items came damaged again. requested return and a refund. they came and picked the items up, and 4 weeks later they didn't receive the items in their distribution centre and no refund yet. called 4 times and get promised a call back every time and received none

      What the heck happened to The Bay? My family did all of their Christmas shopping at the Bay for as long as I remember. Times have changed. I ordered 2 chairs from The Bay in June 2023. Their promised fulfillment date came and passed with no chairs. I called their customer service number on July 7 to cancel and was advised that I should see a credit on my card in 10 to 14 business days. No such luck. The next time I called, I was told that the refund hadn't gone through because the "back office" hadn't approved it yet. It had somehow magically been approved that day so the credit would be processed in another 10 to 14 business days. It is now August 23 and the Bay is still hanging on to $537. The last time I called was August 7. Was advised again that it takes 10 to 14 business days. Called today as a credit still hasn't been processed. Was advised to wait for another 2 days to see if it appears. I then asked to speak to a supervisor or someone in Canada (the call centre is in the Philippines). Supervisor was not available and was told that the only employees they have in Canada are French call centre agents. I asked to be transferred, was put on hold and then cut off.       Had to call to order patio furniture, you could not do it online. Then after repeating my order twice they still got it wrong and I had to call back to get an item added that they missed one I received the invoice. Then they tried to charge me for additional $79 shipping without telling me and they charged me HST even though I live in Alberta. They said I could go into the nearest store to get a refund for the HST. And they hd to push out my deliver date by a week by added the extra chairs they missed even though it was 5 mins after the first order. I also had a terrible experience with them sending me the wrong Color shoes and it being a nightmare to getting it corrected. Their customer service representatives are not helpful and don't seem to ever understand the issue and make order mistakes. It is so painful, * ***** *** ********* ******** ****** **** *****

      I want others to be aware. While having many good experiences with this company, I recently ordered a bunch of items and when the box arrived two of the items were missing. When I contacted the company to let them know that I was missing items they basically told me I wasn't and offered to let me purchase the items again and the same price but give me free shipping. I will be buying the items again but from another store. I spend thousands of dollars with this company every year and I will not spend another cent.

      I purchased an item through what they call a 'Market Place' bascially a 3rd party reseller. I've been charged for the same item on my **** twice only to be told by the the HBC customer service rep that it would be the 3rd party reseller submitting this request to charge my ****. This is a privacy breach of my personal **** details and it was never mentioned when placing my order that my **** account details would be shared with a 3rd party. Also I have since returned this item as it arrived defective and have not heard anything wehther it would be replaced or my **** account refundd. I have heard too many times that I would hear something back in 24 to 48 hours. If someone higher up in HBC would like to get in touch with me I would love to share the employee names and numbers who cannot live up to their promises and only to get me off the phone. I would also share the many emails I received in ressponse, they must of been responding to somehting else as their repsonses make no sense and I shake my head more after reading one. Bottom line, customer service does not exist if you need to return something, even worse if it is a 'marketpleace' bought item.

      shopping at the bay Hello Very urgent, I need my furniture today, I had already sent out my old ones After waiting 24 days, delivery time was on July 13, 2022 We called on July 13 5 times, you guys, while waiting for 13 hours without receiving our order or even any call. On July 14 nothing happened too I ask for a delivery immediately with $500 compensation or I go directly to the CEO of your company.

      *************************************************************** ******************* Bought 2 pairs of boots 2 years ago, both arrived in damaged boxes, and looked as though they had been worn quite a bit. I returned one pair, and was charged a return fee, even though returns were free. It took 6 months to refund my money, as they had deposited my refund into someone else's account.

      This February I purchased a seasonal Swatch watch. When it arrived, the gift/storage box it comes in was damaged. I immediately contacted HBC to try and get a new box. After a month of back-and-forth a manager told me the only way to get a new box was to return the watch I had and purchase a new one. She assured me she would personally make sure an undamaged box and watch would be sent. When I expressed my concerns about the refund process, she assured she would personally make sure the refund was deposited into my account. I believed her - my mistake. Instead of a refund, they sent me a gift card. I called repeatedly, sent emails, and filled out their online forms trying to get my refund as promised. When I called, the reps answering refused to let me speak with a manager; despite my numerous requests for a manager to call me back, no one ever did. Email replies constantly said different things. They tried to say I was past the return timeframe, so they would not give me my money back. I wrote lengthy emails explaining the situation, and how a manager told me to return the watch, with the promise of a refund to my original form of payment. I asked to speak with the processing unit to explain the situation, but the phone reps refused. Everything I requested was refused. Any form of help or decent customer service was refused. And to add insult to injury, the second watch also arrived in a damaged box, which HBC refused to acknowledge. What a horrible, horrible store. **********************************************
