    Hello xyz *****

When you trade in a vehicle, you receive a tax saving. That trade amount would subsequently subtract from the subtotal, reducing the amount of tax obligation. The original amount agreed upon included your tax savings. After further discussion, you confirmed that was not initially clear, you misunderstood, but agreed you were cumulatively given the total amount originally agreed upon for trade in. In addition to that, in an email dated March 7th sent to another representative, you indicated the issue was resolved.

You were not cheated in any way, shape or form, and given the total amount agreed upon in deduction from your total. At no point were you ever OUT $1200.

We rectified the matter with you expeditiously (given the customer is always right), gave you the benefit of the doubt, and, unbeknownst to you, gave you much more than originally quoted, on the spot, for your trade in. You agreed with the resolution amicably, sealed with a handshake. In fact, you expressed your surprise that you later calculated much more in deduction than you were originally expecting on your purchase, to the tune of an additional $1400 off. A massive loss to us, to which no effort reciprocated on your part to even the scales, as you came to realize, you were never out $1200.

If there was any miscommunication, it was unintentional, and not a misrepresentation on our part. Although it is your right to share what you perceive may have taken place, it's unfair for you to say we shorted you any amount of money, despite your initial misunderstanding of how you received it.

We resolved the issue with you immediately in your favor, but you later commence crucifying our representative by defaming his name all over social media. We thank you for the high praise of our dealership and our service. We've worked hard to deserve that. The negative rhetoric you've associated with our representative however, we do not deserve.

We did not correct the representative. Although you stood to gain much more monetarily than originally quoted, we agreed to absorb the losses from your miscalculation and continued with your purchase, in an effort to earn your business, and to put the misunderstanding to rest.
