The crew came out and cut some limbs of a tree on my neighbour's property in ******** that was overhanging in my yard. They did a great job and the clean up was exceptional. The crew was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for someone to take care of your trees.

A house was being built on an empty lot beside ours and Timberscapes came and cut down trees on OUR property and removed the top 1/3 of some of our very mature cedar hedge on to allow for electrical lines. We were not consulted once. We spoke to Hydro on site as Timberscapes used them as an excuse and Hydro advised that they do not cut anything from someone’s property without explicit consent. They also told us there was no need to cut them where they did as the line did not go anywhere near the hedge. As well, an arborist came and told us Timberscapes has left the trees susceptible to future disease. It has been an eyesore and very stressful reminder every time we walk out the front door. At the time, the owner Devin W. promised to fix the issue and replace the trees he completely cut down but 2+ years later, it has not been done. Forward to 2024, he again says it was the builders and Hydro One’s fault as he was simply following instructions. We recently provided our honest review of the company, which prompted Timberscapes owner, Devin W. to come back to our home at the end of 2024. He then offered to replace the hedge to which we agreed. About a week after that meeting, he sent us an email and to say he changed his mind. He didn't feel it looked so bad and gave us a 'FINAL OFFER' to simply deadhead the entire row of cedars so essentially we would be looking at tree trunks. He also somehow believes, even though he has been in business for 15 years, that he had the right to deadhead trees clearly on our property line as some of the branch canopy was on the neighbour’s side. **** ********* **** **** tree branches can be trimmed if they overhang, but you cannot remove anything that is not on the property you are working on, which is what he did. To top it off, he said he doesn’t even think he charged the builder for that site visit…. and wasn’t even sure of the property lines as he was just doing what was asked. We do not recommend Timberscapes.
