    * ** ***** *** ***** ******* ***** ***** ******** ************ *** you should be aware that our recent service visits were anything but positive. We experienced high-pressure sales tactics and ********* questionable business practices. (We are 20-year loyal customers who just terminated our service contract.) - In the fall of 2023, a technician recommended the immediate replacement of a furnace collector box costing $472, which was later deemed unnecessary by the technician himself. - In the summer of 2024, a technician disabled the A/C unit without prior discussion then dispatched a Shipton's sales rep who recommended a replacement costing $17,396, which was unnecessary. - In the winter of 2024, a technician pressured us to authorize immediate furnace repairs costing $2,112 while threatening to cut off the gas supply, which was unnecessary. *** ********** ******* ********* *** *********** *** *** ******* **** ** ** **** *************************************

    I had terrific service and wonderful care for my unit by Nigel L. He showed me how to keep it clean and making it more efficient while explaining the benefits of the newer units and the potential government rebates. I will ask for him again. Thank you ****
