  I had a personal recommendation from a client about the Company, I read the positive reviews, and anticipated a professional removal of my tree. Boy was I wrong! Without any discussion with me or obtaining my neighbour’s permission the tree was dropped onto their lawn, resulting in extensive damage that will take considerable time and effort to repair. Good thing there isn’t a fence between the properties! With the amount of recent rain the ground was soft, yet no preventative measures (like sheets of plywood over the lawn on which to run the heavy equipment used to remove the pieces of the tree or even a recommendation to delay the removal until the ground was firmer) were taken to protect my neighbour's lawn. This negligence resulted in deep ruts leading from the backyard to the street. “Stumps R Us’” response was less than stellar and quite dismissive. “Just go away and pay me” is how it sounded to me. Some top soil and grass seed was tossed on the ruts and that was it; no apology or compensation was given to my neighbours. Within a couple of hours of putting down the grass seed, it rained heavily and again on the next two days which resulted in most of the seed being washed away. Six days later and there is little evidence of seed generation and there has been no contact by the company. To me it is clear that “Stumps R Us” has walked away and left my neighbours and me to clean up the mess, and it looks like I will be on the hook to compensate my neighbours for water and time spent. A sign of a good company is how it responds to screw-ups and how well it takes responsibility and resolves an issue. This I did not get from “Stumps R. Us”. I do not recommend this company.

  Unfortunately the problem is this person (David A****** ** ********* ***** ****** )was never intending to pay me whatsoever. And hasn’t. He understood completely what we were doing…. We took down the last 15 feet of a tree in the neighbours empty back yard for safety. Reasons As the way the trunk was leaning. After we cleaned up We had A landscaping crew. come in after and put dirt down and topsoil. The backyard was a mess to begin with, but that shouldn’t matter. We cleaned it up better than it ever was And actually ever will be.!!!! The bottom line David a****** ** ** ********* ****, Had no intentions on paying me. I’ve now heard this from numerous neighbours (as I do a lot of work in area) it’s sad, this is what happens in society today, unfortunately…. People want things for free. Most people can see through these scammers that are out trying to hurt small businesses, They were just trying to get a free job and that’s what they did so now I have to take them small claims that’s the bottom line.

  Stumps R Us team is excellent, they did what was expected from them and then some. They showed up right on time. The cleanup was perfect, and absolutely no mess was left behind. All the branches were put in the chipper and talk about neatness! I am impressed. His pricing is very reasonable, I would recommend Stumps R Us to anybody who is looking for quality work, even the fussiest customer would be happy. Look no further, call *** for your tree care.
