    Surprising that someone in business with a major and successful brand would be this problematic to work with. After the initial drop off of a portable generator in summer of 2023 to have a tune up one further visit to the shop about 3 weeks later to pay for the services. Followed by around ***** phone calls to follow up on the service, and several broken promises to deliver the unit to my doorstep, 8 months had gone by and in spring of 2024, after a series of confusing and problematic phone calls mid April. Law enforcement was contacted, because the business claimed that they were uncertain of the unit I had delivered for repair, and when I suggested we would have a problem if any unit aside from the one that had been delivered was received the owner told me to "Come down and say that to my face." After promising in a voicemail and to the constable who contacted the owner that they would deliver the unit without further issue. When I arrived to collect the unit, a further argument and questions about whether or not I owned the unit ensued, at which point I suggested that I could just call back the constable who had previously been in touch and request his presence. Finally presented with the possibility of further law enforcement involvement the owner, while continuing to explain his inventory and clerical issues relented took me to the asset in question, and confirmed that the work had been completed by starting up the motor. At which point I concluded our conversation and left with my property. Very glad that my business with this individual is concluded and that I won't have to experience any of the horror stories I'm sure other people have endured with this company working as a contractor on my property.

    We purchased a Generac generator from Equilube in November of 2022 and gave them a depsoit of $1,000. It was supposed to be delivered in early December but, it finally came on January 19th, 2023. They asked us to be there when they delivered to show them where the unit was going and to collect $7,000. We told them we would not be home until 1:00 on January 19th and they said they would come for 1:00. They called us on the day of delivery at 12:15 to say they were at our house. We told them we would come home as soon as we could. When we arrived at 12:50, they had already put down the pad for the generator and the generator was in place. IN THE WRONG PLACE.They said they would move it when they came to install. We were waiting and waiting and waiting and calling to find out about the installation. They kept telling us that they were waiting on a date from Hydro. Then ***** went on strike. We knew there would be more of a wait. When the strike ended in June, they told us that there was a backlog and we would just have to wait our turn. I decided to call Ottawa Hydro myself to find out where we were in their system. They had received nothing from Equilube at this point. They said they would require a layout and payment. All the communication was me calling them and I let ***** know that hydro had no knowlege of a Generac installation at our location. Finally on September 28th ***** called to tell me "It's not too bad now we have about 15 more jobs. So we should be installing yours mid October. October 18th ***** called to say that everything was ready, they were waiting for Hydro to give them a date. I have placed numerous calls to no avail. December 6th I placed a call to Hydro Ottawa and spoke to *******. She said that they had received the layout and payment and they were waiting for Equilube to call with a date to install.I have been trying to reach Equilube to find out their mailbox is full. We are more than frustrated.

    Very bad customer service. They do not return phone calls or emails. Would not recommend this company.

    Very bad customer service. Owner is rude and unreliable. Do not recommend this company. There are better company that install Generator
