    We purchased a Forest River couples camper in August 2023 that is a 2022 built. We've had several issues with the camper since we bought it. We live 2 hours from ************ so brining the camper for repairs and taking time off work was pretty frustrating not including the gas money spent back and forth. The first couple of issues were cosmetic, two drawers busted, broken mirror, floor ripped , (poorly fixed, can still see damage) propane smell in camper when tank is open) bedframe is twisted and now the power inverter died and our warranty ended only 2 weeks ago . The battery also defective which may have been the cause of the power converter dying.We called Leisure Days because we have an upcoming camping trip (our years vacation) and they told us that they will charged $500.00 to get this replaced but the one they would put in has is a 30 amp instead of a 50 amp! We found one on ****** for much cheaper which we will purchase and my husband will install. The lack of concern or care from the staff after the warranty is expired is transparent.I would not recommend purchasing from this company. Disillusioned customer

    Good morning all.We have many campers that purchase from our company that do not live nearby. While our customers always have the choice to have servicing done elsewhere, we try to maintain priority servicing for those that have purchased from us. We also understand that new ownership can be a process, and that the safety net of the manufacturers warranty is there to support owners with most deficiencies and defects. Our location has not changed since you purchased the travel trailer. I cannot comment on the cost of our items vs Amazon, but customers always have the choice to purchase parts and accessories wherever they choose. A negative review based on parts pricing and cost of ownership does not seem fair. Thank you.
