    0 stars. We purchased a tankless water heater system for our brand new built house. It's was installed by professional propane gas company. It's only been two years since installed. It's under warranty and we have called and live chatted with Eccotemp and tried every solution they gave us from getting a technician(on my own dime) to test the gas, change the computer board, which we had to pay a security deposit and never got the money back. Now they are telling us that we don't have the right gas pipe size to the system. It's been two months since we have had hot showers or even hot water. The installation guide says nothing about the pipe size and it was installed by a professional, and tested, as well as it was working fine. ************** says f we change to the 3/4 pipe it will still give us the error code, because he has tested with his special tool the gas and its perfect. I would never recommend this company or products to anyone as they don't honor warranty and we'll they try there best to make you forget and move on with no help at all. All the other appliance hooked up to the propane gas are working great. I am disappointed I did not read the reviews here before purchasing. I hope to fight this as far as I can. Also hope that this helps others in making a better choice in company's. This has been the worst customer service experience in my life. Last year we also had to replace ignitor pin but it worked fine after that fix, but being it was brand new that also gave me a bad taste. ?? thumbs down and no stars.

    I am having a very bad experience trying to have a water heater exchanged. It worked for not more then three hours, AND I WANT TO RETURN IT FOR A WORKING UNIT WHILE UNDER WARRANTY.They have been contacted by phone multiple times over the same time frame and state they can do nothing over the phone and all must be done through E Mail, that is if you are luck and the automated phone service only tells you to leave a message ( they have never called back) after 10 or so minutes.I felt they were rude, when I talked to them and treated me badly.I just bought a new unit from you ( see attached information below).I replaced the existing unit with the new one. The shut off valve hardware and relief valve was unused, having them plumbed in already. The unit was installed and worked fine for a three hours, then it would not work at all and showed no codes.I want to return and get a replacement.We were told to e mail you and get a return label.I have email asking for a shipping label Mon, Aug 28 at 11:31 pm Thu, Aug 31 at 1:46 p.m.I am still waiting for a label to return the unit and have one sent back.We called again at 2:02 yesterday and we were told that someone from support would get back to us and resolve this issue.They still have not resolved this issue or called.Time of writing is Aug. 31 @ 8:18pm 2023

    Totally agree with the negative comments. A garbage product with no service recourse. DO NOT BUY!
