  Called as a third comparison for attic insulation. Showed a photo of tracks from raccoons (we knew) but also bare wood where the animals had scratched up the insulation. Estimate included complete removal and replacement of insulation, sanitization and sealing all holes. Really pushed rebates so the quote came in at $8829+hst while 2 other quotes were $5000 and $4000. I went in the attic and the insulation is fine. It has been disturbed by raccoons but we're dealing with them. No need for new insulation. Total scam. Would not recommend

  I am incredibly fortunate that I picked Jarrah Contracting to seal and insulate our attic. Amazing work. Super clean. Detail oriented. Both guys ************. I could go on and on about how amazing they are. I asked a lot of questions and they took the time and explained everything to me. I was let down many times by contractors before, so I was worried this time too. Halfway through the work I just sat down on my front yard chair and stopped worrying. Amazing work, good quality insulation material, great machines and tools. They respect your house. No mess at all. I will use them again for my other properties and other projects.Dont think twice. Hire them and enjoy quality.P.S. I received all kinds of quotes from different companies, but none were as trustworthy as Jarrah.Thank you *** and ****** for the amazing work! I will use your services again, and will definitely recommend to my contractor friends.I wish I could give you 10 stars as that is well deserved!

  I would strongly recommend JCS as they provided me with excellent service, for the best price. I received quotes from 4 contractors for a project consisting of: attic insulation top-up from R30 to R60 and air sealing; general house air sealing and adding batt insulation in my basement. *** was the most thorough in his inspection of the house, and the only one who asked to visit each room to see whether there were signs of moisture on the ceilings. He knows very well the existing energy rebate programs from ************************ and Enbridge and what the Energy Auditors are looking for. He is the only one who offered air sealing of all attic-accessible light fixtures and bathroom vents as well as general air sealing of the house (caulking around window trims and doors (interior), foam gaskets in electrical outlets and switches of perimeter walls) at no extra cost, while other companies would charge an extra $300 for attic sealing, and $900 for general air sealing of the house without even evaluating what work was required. He estimated the attic surface size accurately, while one company provided a quote for 400 square foot larger than the actual size, inflating the cost of the estimate by close to $1200! *** and his colleague Many were on time, very pleasant, professional in their approach and very helpful with all my questions. The communication with JCS was clear and prompt replies came for each of my electronic communications with the company. With JCS, you get the best bang for your buck, hands down!
